Chili Beef Noodle Skillet

1 package noodles (8 ounces)
½ lb ground beef
½ onion, chopped
½ C chopped celery
1 C peas
2 15-ounce cans diced tomatoes
2 garlic cloves, minced
¾ Tbsp chili powder
½ tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
½ to 1 C shredded cheddar or Monterey jack cheese
Bacon bits (I use Hormel Real Bacon Pieces)

Cook noodles according to directions. Brown beef, onion, garlic, and celery in skillet. Add salt, pepper, chili powder, tomatoes, and peas. Cook to heat through. Add bacon bits and cheese and noodles; stir until cheese is melted.

*This tastes like Hamburger Helper but a lot better.
